Your satisfaction is very important to us. Your purchases at Open Road Auto Parts, must meet your expectation or else you may request a replacement shipment or your purchase price will be refunded, subject to the below returns policy.
Warranties
Product warranties are covered by their respective manufacturer’s warranties. Manufacturers’ specify their warranty policies on product insert sheets. We suggest reading them carefully and executing your individual registration form with the manufacturer. Additionally, Open Road Auto Parts warrants that at the time of shipment the products sold shall be free from defects in material and workmanship. Open Road Auto Parts maximum liability shall not in any case exceed the purchase price (excluding any freight charges) for the products purchased from Open Road Auto Parts and claimed to be defective. Open Road Auto Parts will furnish replacement parts, but will not remove or install any product or component thereof, which, upon test and examination by Open Road Auto Parts or its authorized agents, proves defective within the warranty period.
Open Road Auto Parts will not be liable for any loss, incidental nor consequential damages of any kind, whether based upon warranty, contract or negligence, and arising in connection with the sale, use or repair of the products. This warranty does not extend to any product sold by Open Road Auto Parts, which has been subjected to misuse, neglect, accident, improper installation or use for any purpose other than its intended purpose. This warranty does not apply to any unit which has been repaired or altered.
This warranty does not apply to parts returned without prior return authorization.
Return Policy
All requests for returns MUST be made in writing through the Return Authorization Form.
The RA # must be prominently displayed on the exterior of the return shipping container. Returns received without an RA # on the outside of the box will not be credited nor returned. Parts returned that were not listed on the original return authorization request will not be credited nor returned.
Parts to be returned must be unused in their original container or packaging. Packaging must be in good condition.
Parts not purchased from Open Road Auto Parts or new parts returned after 30 days will not be credited nor returned. All returns must be shipped prepaid and insured at the customer’s expense. Open Road Auto Parts will not accept COD returns nor will it be responsible for any lost or misdirected returns. When an exchange or replacement is requested, the replacement part(s) must be paid for in advance. Exchange/replacement orders cannot be shipped without payment. Upon receipt and approval for credit of the returned part(s), a refund will be issued to the account used to pay for the exchange/replacement order.
Here’s what to do if you need to return an auto part to Open Road Auto Parts:
1. First, contact Open Road Auto Parts for a Return Authorization Number (RA#) by filling out the Return Authorization Form. Please indicate which part numbers and quantities are being returned and the reason for the return. RA Numbers are valid for 30 days. Specify in your request all parts you would like to return. You will receive an email from us within 24-48 hours (excluding holidays & weekends) with your RA Number, along with complete return instructions including the return address to our warehouse, which is not the same as our corporate office address.
2. Next, package and ship your return package prepaid and insured to the address provided in the e-mail. Remember to display your RA Number prominently on the outside of your package. Also include a copy of your original invoice inside the box. COD shipments will NOT be accepted.
Once we have received your return, conducted an inspection of the returned parts and verified that your return meets the above guidelines, a refund for the returned parts will be issued to the same account used to make your original purchase. All applicable sales taxes will also be refunded. No credit will be issued for freight or any other charges. If your order is damaged during shipping, immediately file a damage claim with the carrier. All original shipping cartons and packing must be saved for inspection by the carrier.
